Farm Information

child/chaperone.
If you would like snow cones please add $1.00 to the
admission price making it $9.00 per child/chaperone.

Farm
presentation is targeted for Pre-K through 5th
grade.
The program is presented accordingly to be grade appropriate
up to the 5th grade.
Barn:
Kids learn about farm animals and how they benefit us. They
will have the opportunity to pet them. See a goat milked
and make butter.
Garden:
They have hands on in the garden with a lesson on how things
grow. They will plant or pick vegetables according to the
time of year.
Tipi:
Learn how the Plains Indians lived. Tour an authentic tipi.
Hayride:
Students take a trip on our hayride. Environmental
information shared with students about what lives and grows
in the surrounding woods.
Playground:
Try out all the playground equipment. Go on our tree tube
slide,
take a flight on the
zip cord and sail the seven seas. Snow cones for $1.00, and
Barnyard Store, most items .25 cents up to $5.00.
Picnic:
Each child should bring a picnic lunch and towel/blanket to
sit one.
I.
We are able to accommodate up
to 210 children/adults at one time. This is done by dividing
into four groups and rotating locations.
II.
We
have a large parking area. Buses are easily parked and
turned around.
III.
Hours of operation are
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
(Mondays and Fridays reserved as rain check days)
IV.
Admission is $8.00 per person/chaperone without snow cone or
$9.00 with.
V.
All farms tours are handled by
reservations only.
